If you go to www.sennheiser.com and do a search for these, it brings you to the archived page.

The following is quoted from that page:

"HD 280 Professional Headphones
The HD 280 Professional monitoring headphones have been specially developed for broadcasting and ENG applications. They offer the user excellent insulation from ambient noise with a linear, precise reproduction of the audio material – which also makes them an ideal choice for DJs. The collapsible ear pieces ensure space-saving transport as well as allowing single-ear monitoring. The soft, circumaural ear pads guarantee that the headset remains comfortable even after long periods of listening. All wearing parts, such as the single-sided coiled cable, the ear pads and the headband padding, are available as spare parts and are easy to replace. If required, the HD 280 Professional can be easily upgraded to a monitoring headset."

The HD280PRO is a kind of HD25 with circumaural (instead of supra-aural) earpads.

There have been various delays in the development and production of this item. It is due to appear (at least at the German market) by the end of october.
