[Reanimation]

I was wondering which one is better for what I need.
-Sound Isolation
-Noise Canceling (not a big deal, but would like it)
-Over Ear
-Good for Metal, alternative, Hardcore, some rap, some electronic. Basically all around
-Portability.
-Decent looks
-Durability

Price as no object...HD 25-1 II all the way. Neither have ANC, but the HD 25-1 II has better isolation. They aren't over ear, but that's why you get better isolation. It's a great all rounder, very portable, looks good, and is way more rugged than the Aviators. 
 
IMO they sound better too. Once you're willing to hit ~200 USD the Aviators shouldn't even be considered.
