I’ve been looking for a set of portable, closed, comfortable, Grado like sounding headphones for Metal and no matter how much research I did, I always came to the same conclusion...the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II. However, there was one thing that was holding me back, the aesthetics. They are extremely boring in design and are made to look even worse since the arrival of the Monster Beats by Dre, which every school kid in London seems to be wearing. But then, I found something that put a nice big smile on my face, customized Sennheiser HD 25-1 II!

Yeah the whole appeal (to me) of the HD 25s is the simple, minimalist look they have. They are not fancy, in your face and obtrusive like some of the plastic headphones on the market.
