Hey guys,
 
I wanna know if the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II sounds well with the Sandisk Sansa Clip+.
I've done some research on the internet and found out that the Sandisk Sansa Clip+ has great quality for his price.
 
Also the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II seems a good product. But im interested if someone here at this forum has this combination and if he can 
tell me if it's great or not. By the way, english is not my main language, so there can be some grammar mistakes. Excuse moi.

I tried my (rockboxed) Clip+ on a HD25 at a local store. The combination was quite usable, but did kind of sound like it was missing some ooomph. I then added my Fiio E6 and it sounded a lot better.

Thanks for your commend. So does the FiiO E6 improves the sound quality or only just the volume of the sound?

Only the volume - the Clip+ has less output power than the iPod Classic, for instance. You should try the Clip+ with your headphones first though, without an amp, and see if it gets loud enough for you.

But in case i want to buy a amp, which one do you prefer with the Sandisk sansa clip+ ?

None, as I don't need one. Both the FiiO E6 and E11 are decent and affordable. The former is smaller and the latter has more output power.
