Hi, I just wanted to do a quick alert in case anyone is interested:
http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-CX-890i-Headset-Black/dp/B009E6J8U4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1358216521&sr=8-3&keywords=sennheiser+cx985
I have no idea how long this will last, but the link above currently shows $89.93. These normally go for about $150.
There's not much written about Sennheiser's latest "consumer" oriented offerings, but I have the cx985 and I think they're pretty special buds. Though I haven't heard them, cx890i is from the same generation and will likely reveal similar characteristics. There are a couple of well written reviews here on the cx985, so I'll suffice it to say they have great soundstage, stereo separation and a big and and detailed, if somewhat v-shaped presentation. They are extremely fun on the go, and require only a shallow insertion and so are very comfortable.
The cx 890i also has a mic and phone control, though I'm guessing by the name it's probably wired more for iPhone than Android.
