Ok.so currently my best iem is the senheisser cx550.I've been thinking want to buy the turbine tomorrow. Is the Turbine better or much better than the cx 550?Not considering the price.

Ok.If considering the price it is worth it coz the turbine cost around 260 USD at my place.

Give me advise please...THX

You mean the original black Turbine? Not the Gold or Copper?

If it is the black Turbine, at $260 I will look elsewhere, though I am yet to hear them.

I have the CX550 and have owned the Turbines previously.  In my opinion, the Turbine was much smoother and more refined overall, with much better quality treble despite there being less quantity. However, I did find the bass of the Turbine to actually be more abundant, almost too much for my tastes.

To sum, the Monsters were better to my ears and would certainly be an upgrade but knowing how expensive listening devices are in your neck of the woods I can't really say if it'll be worth it.

EDIT: Wow at $260!  Definitely not worth it.

Oh then if I were you, I won't get them.

Like @kjk1281 said, not worth it. You can buy better things with $260. Even though I have never tried them.

If they were Monster Turbine Pro Coppers or Miles Davis for $260, definitely grab those.

At onecall.com, you can get the MTPC and Miles Davis for $250, just quote a price and wait for them to email you. Or if you want something real exotic, get the FX-700

Hmm having used the cx95 some time back, i think you should consider the ie8's too. I have auditioned the turbines and ie8 face to face, and i think the ie8's are better in every aspect except fitting.
