I'm about to buy the Sennheiser CX300 Eco Ear Canal for £16, and just want to know if I'm getting the most for what I'm paying. I'm getting a top quality earphone and 2 year warranty, I don't think there's a better deal out there.

If you can stretch your budget for a CX 400 or CX 95 then go for that. The CX 300 are okay for the price, but the bass is muddy and the sound teeny, all of which the CX 400 improved upon. I would rather pay extra and go for something a bit better.

if your budget is £16 then its about as good as you will find for that money unless play or amazon are doing thier random bargin prices on something (custom 1 on amzon for £18 reciently and shure se110 on play for £18 reciently too)

SE110 on play.com is £25 and probably worth the extra £9 over the CX 300.

ooh haddent noticed that, rare for them to reduce the black ones, but yeah for £25 they (I think anyway) the best you can get for that sort fo money. however if u want loads of bass the cx300 will be better for you (when i say loads i mean far too much)

SE110 were £18 on Play.com before?

For the money, at least, they'll be as good as you'll get.
But it will mean that if you want to upgrade later on, you'll have to spend a fair bit more.
That's the problem I've always had as I'm a bit of a bargain hunter.
