Recently, I have been looking at a new iem for somewhere under $50.Specifically the cx 500 and the m1. There are many good reviews for both of these products.  But I'm not sure about the authenticity of the cx 500 that are available on amazon through headphonejack.
If there isn't much of a difference, or if this retailer is known to be no good, then i would certainly go with the m1 which is being sold by mp4nation. If the difference is decently major, and they are reputable, then i think i would like the cx 500.

I think you can get the M2's for forty something dollars when they are on sale. I would rather buy these.

How often do the M2s go on sale?
 
How about the retailer selling the cx 500? Are they trust worthy? I am mainly interested in the cx 500 because off the inline volume control. And how do they cx 500 compare with the m1? the m2?
