I'm in the market for a pair of IEMs, having never owned a pair besides Apple earbuds, and I'm not really sure what to get. I really want the Brainwavz M3's, but they're a little too pricey for me at the moment. I'm trying to decide between the three in the title of the thread and would like a little input from people who have listened to all three.

They'd mainly be connected to an iPod Classic. Let's say a budget of around $40.

I have used cx 300, 400 II and 550. I would go for cx 500 or cx 400 II.
I do not know about other iems that you listed out.
