Do the HD650 cables fit in HD600 and HD580 etc headphones?
Sennheiser cables - is HD650 same as HD600?

Yep, I believe they do. The cables on the headphones you mentioned aren't identical, though. (But yes, all three's cables will fit all three headphones.)

The connectors for all those are the same, so you can swap cables between each of them.

There is a picture of the difference. I bought the HD650 cable to replace the HD600 (to re-use the plugs for a DIY cable). It think the HD650 is of a bit better quality. You can also see it is twice as thick as the HD600's. The difference in sound was noticable.
