Has anyone tried those Sennheiser Aviation headsets? The most obvious attribute about them is blocking out sound up to 40dB. The frequency response is a little weak though, something like 45-15,000 Hz. I know these were made for blocking out jet/helicopter noise and not sound quality, but I'm just how they sound...

I am pretty sure he meant that they reduce the outside noise with ~40db. Not that they block out sound that has a sound pressure below 40db.

I have heard them, block out alot of sound according to my memory...They were on a jet, no music coming out, just radio communication...
