Dear All,
I have just bought a 650 HD, for a relatively good price in a store, but they were in exhibition (so burn in should be ready, they have been there for four months). They look good, no visible damages, sound is ok, cable is fine, no visible cracks, so I am happy (by now).
It is my third Sennheiser's pair. The first were the 558 HD, the second (I know, it did not make much sense to buy it) are the 598 HD, and now those. The sound is much more "sweet" and "musical" on the 650, but today I have no other amp than the FIIO E17. Tomorrow will arrive the E09k, but until tomorrow I have to live with what I have (patience is something that not everybody has).
By now I am using Gain 12 and volume 23. Do you know any better setting for the provisional setup with the FIIO E17? Using optical cable.
