OK, Got my Senn 600's for Christmas and have been loving them. I noticed about a week ago that the left channel seems a little louder than the right..... My wife listened to them and think its just me.... but I switched the around (R channel on left ear) and the louder channel goes to the opposite ear..... maybe it is just me tho.
 
whats the best way to tell for sure? I know its not my source.

Sometimes it's the source like a bad sound card or something. Try to plug it into something else and see if the problem still persists. I know that had happened to one of my friend when she bought her new headphone home and complained that the sound was constantly louder on one side.. turns out it only happens on her old home pc which runs onboard sound...
