It seems that Sennheiser have discontinued their official replacement cord, so what all options are there?

I know about the threaded cable that you can get on eBay, I had one but it tore. There is also the Fiio one but it is quite expensive. Are there any other options? I heard that you can use the Audio Technica M50 cables on the 558, is this true? Can I use any of the replacement cables for those headphones on the 558s?

This is the cable I bought for my HD558.

Not sure if it is the same one you had bought.
