Is it just me, or does the Sennheiser 280 PRO 2nd Gen have less noise isolation than the original?
Because I recently purchased the 2nd gen and it does a fair job of isolation, however, I can still hear people talking when I'm in public, and I can hear the engine running when I'm on the bus.
The headphones do dampen the noise, but it doesn't seem like its the 32db of attenuation as stated on the Sennheiser website. When I tested my buddies' 280 PRO original I could hear nothing, and I'm going to ask him if I can test again.
