I just ordered the sennheiser 228 at j&r for 59.95 shipped. I am going to replace them with my great portapros. I like the idea of the 228 has a single side cord and are tuned for bass. I hope I like them better than my portapros. I have seen no reviews on these. Oh it would be even nicer if they can replace my rp-15mc.

Im also very interested bout these. I was going to buy them, but yesterday i've found that weight of these is 224g. I think thats too much and they would fell of my head. Although on promo photos these doesn't seem to be big, so maybe...? Anyway i'm waiting for photos and imressions from LTUCCI1924 and anybody else.

I got them about an hour ago. In my opinion these really suck big time. my portapros eat them up real bad. Rather than go through the details about them I will just say I dont like them at all. sorry folks. I will not burn them in but just through them in a draw inless someone wants to try them for 40.00 shipped.I will put them in the for sale forum for the 40.00 shipped.

ALWAYS burn in for at least 10-20 hours to get some idea about SQ, unless you didn't get a good fit or find them very uncomfortable.
