GOD THEY ARE SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Every company should take a note from Sennheiser's book.

This my friend is how a headphone is supposed to look. Not stupid and ugly like majority of other professional and audiophile headphones.

hmm, it reminds me a little of the HD280. Hopefully doesn't sound like the HD280, haha. If it isolates well I might consider buying a pair.

I think they look exceptionally dull, although admittedly not as utilitarian as the HD280. Not that it matters one tiny jot because if they sound even remotely like the HD280 then they aren't even worth listening to at a meet because those precious seconds can be spent with something worthwhile like a pair of eBay fake PX100.

Hmm the HD555 sounded terrific and these look similar.

I wonder how they sound thats the real question.
I read a review on Amazon about them and the guy said they were miles above the HD 280.

but seriously Sennheiser really knows how to make nice looking stuff. I have seen some headphones that I won't be caught dead wearing and I do not care how good they sound.

What are you comparing the crap SQ of HD280 Pro to?

They look plastic-ish.

... except for the crucial difference that the HD555 are open and these are sealed, which will mean completely different sound reproduction.

They are clearly meant to be hd280 pro successors. I do hope they've cleared up the crappy mids so they no longer need to be EQ'd to be listenable.

They look comfortable and more contemporary imo. I was wondering when Sennheiser would step away from the more conventional classic look. I hope they sound as nice as they look. Guess I'll have to wait for a review :]
