Hey guys

if you could help me out with my problem that would be great

I don't have a headphone amp and don't plan on getting one.... so will my new creative zen 4gb be enough to power either the Sennheiser HD515's or HD555's

it is one of those new creatives... and i want to be able to crank it when i want to...

if not then can you suggest another player for ~$100 that will be more "powerful".

thanks!

HD555s, yes. Haven't heard HD515s.

Shouldn't have much problem with the 555s. They're only 50 ohms impedence IIRC and quite efficient enough.

They sound closed. Which is a bit of a bad thing, but the bonus is that they are closed, and very well closed. If isolation is a factor, they are more than nice. Otherwise, get the HD 555s.

Or pop for the 595s, the king of efficient Senns.
