I haven't heard the PMX200's yet but if you are going to wear them outdoors
in the winter with a coat that has a high collar, the collar will keep
pushing them up when you sit down in a bus for example. The PMX200's
ear clip might be uncomfortable for some people and might interfere
with eyeglasses.

The PMX200 was designed to not move around on your head when jogging or some such activity. The PX200's seal breaks when jogging and looses its bass.

Thanks. I will mainly be using them for listening to when on a train or plane or in a hotel room. I therefor don't need the jogging abilty etc but have concluded that whilstr lying down a headband on the back of the neck is a bad idea so have ordered the PX200s.

The current version of the PX200 (aluminum clad voice coil?)
has a clear midrange and extended treble. If the bass is boosted
with an electronic bass boost equalizer it has the same punch as the AKG
K26p. Sony has the NEW 710 comming out (already in Japan).
(See "sony.co.jp.com"; search on "headphones" click on "sonydrive" click on
"headband" style.) AKG has the NEW K27i ("akg.com"). Ultrasone
has a NEW closed back model (icANS) being marketed in Japan ( "ultrasone.com" ). Audio-Technica has the NEW ES-7 out.
