I've been wearing Senn PX100s with a 3g iPod for about 2 years. I just bought a 4G iPod Photo and still use the PX 100s.

As I walk around the iPod stops intermittently. Through trial and error I discovered that as I turn the headphone jack the iPod pauses. The 4G iPod is designed to stop if headphones are unplugged. They aren't unplugged but turning the headphone jack on the PX100s is enough.

I then plugged in a brand new pair of PX 100s. Same problem.

I then plugged in the original Apple earphones. NO problem.

I then tried a pair of Sonys. No problem.

Must be something about the PX100s.

I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this for me and possible solution. At the moment I am thinking I need to stop using the PX100s with my iPod.

I actually just bought a used 4G 20GB iPod. I have been using it with my PX100, and although the sound is very nice, the headphone jack does seem to be a bit on the loose side. I thought the problem was on my iPod as I haven't tested it with my other phones, but it seems that the plug on PX100 is maybe a tad smaller than standard. Is this possible?

I haven't had the stopping problem, but I did notice the headphones come off a bit too easily.
