I was wondering, have anyone heard of the Sennheiser earbuds MX350 and/or MX450? Cause as i was surfing the net, i couldn't find any review about those except the MX300 and MX400. Here in the Netherlands you can buy those and the difference between the 50-series is that it's got a Cable with anti-kink sleeve, Balanced "Basswind" system and Metal "Sound Protection System. (http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser...sf/root/500147)
so it looks like it's better than the MX300/400??
But i couldn't find the main difference between the 350 and 450 (except that the 450 is 5 euro's more expensive and the 450's got a winding case). Does anyone know the difference?

Concerning the difference between MX400 and MX 450, there have been several posts here comparing them. For me, personally, the MX450 is the better one, but generally the differences are not that big. About the differences between MX350 and MX 450 I don't know. Judging from the diff. between the 300 and 400 I'd say it could be expected that MX 450 will be significantly better and well worth the extra 5 Euro

I found the 450s to be lighter on the bass but better highs, it went louder too at lower volumes due to the lower impedance. Compared to the mx300 that is, which i prefer, as the sound is a bit more warmer, with the bass being in there.

I'm not sure that the mx350 is not as good as the mx450 just as was for the mx300 and the mx400. From the respective specifications I can't retrieve a clue of that, differently from the x00 series. It seems like the x50's are identical apart from the 'convenience' features.

Why not trying the 350, seeing if you're pleased enough with them, and then deciding if to risk a few bucks on a doubtful improvement with the 450 ?

Don't forget, we're talking about 17-18 euros here....I'd say, buy the priciest one, it'll keep you statisfied most likely.

Fellow dutch man, may your trip to the Media Markt be resourceful (

But I would perhaps exclude the mx550 since that uneffective volume control can be really annoying, besides ever so slightly degrading the sound.

i have not come across many reviews of the x50 series of earbuds, but from the few reviews I have read, the highs are better on the newer ones, but there is less bass. If you plan on using this for portable situations, i'd go with the older ones mx300/400/500, solely for the better bass response.
