Im considering the Electric Avenues PA2V2 and the JDS Labs CMoyBB for my Sennheiser HD598. I've read that the HD598 tends to emphasize treble a little bit, and I also read that the PA2V2 pushes the treble a little bit.

Any comments on this? Any suggestions on which of these two amps to buy?

You can start with a Fiio E7/E9 or the Centrance dacport. Both sound nice with my 598's.

Do a quick serach on the forum, there are lots of info on amps for the sennhs.

Why do you need an amp for the HD598? And what is your source (DAC)?

Very best,

The E7/E9 is a nice combo. If you're looking to save a few bucks with equal performance, get the E10 AMP/DAC. Only con is that it's not really portable, but that shouldn't be an issue really.

I had the e7/e9 with my 598s, thought they worked very well.
