As I recently said in a mod topic for it, I would like to buy this set but really dislike 10 ft cords. Are there any mods for the 202 that show me how to replace the cord and hang off one side? I cant find any topics with the info I need via search :\

also, is the cable detachable? Possible to find a shorter mini to split mini cord for it? Or how about a Y 3.5mm splitter adapter, and two separate shorter low profile 3.5 to 3.5 cords that IN to the adapter, that then INs to my media player? Is this possible? I dont know what style the 202s ports are or if they are even detaching

Griffen makes one, but i dont want coiled and dont know if those 3.5mm are low profile or not. ( meaning the head is skinny and will fit into the HD202s with room to spare. )

Not detachable.

Easiest way is to cut to desired length and re-terminate with a new plug.
