the cx300 is 40 shipped on amazon, and the ep-360 is 26 shipped.
i've read good things about both, but am wondering if the cx300's are worth the extra price.
the senns sell for 75 dollars other places, and i've seen 'em compared to other iem's in the 100 dollar range.
can anyone tell me how these 2 compare?

. I would like to know if theres that much of a difference as well, other than brand name.

Where did you see the ep630 for $26?

I went for the cx300 because it terminated with a right angle plug instead of a straight plug. Less stress on the headphone out. I'll probably get it monday.

It also sounds like the CX300 also has the behind-the-neck cord length, while the EP-630 is Y design. I did contact Senn USA by email btw about CX300, but they gave me a runaround and some marketing words that it's a unique design that will rival other headphones or something like that. (ie, no hint that it is driver-based on the Sharps, or Creatives for that matter)

from what i understand, they use the same drivers (and as you can tell, the design is similar), so personally I'd go with whichever is cheaper.

They are NOT the same on the inside. The sennheiser cx-300 are MUCH better. Read the review in this forum.

It has been debated in that huge cx thread already. The CX 300 DOES NOT use the same drivers as the EP and the MD.

When did you see this price at Amazon? I just looked and they are $70 now.

yesterday and last night. i guesss they must have raised the price again. that's kinda strange how they do that. glad i put in my order before they done that. i'm sure they'll drop it to 39.99 again before too long.

does anyone know if amazon accepts USPS money orders? i tried contacting them to ask, but i just got some automated response that was of no help at all

I think there's a bug on the website. 3 days ago it was $39.99. 2 days ago, up to $69. Then yesterday $39. So i pounced and bought it. Then right after i bought it, went back up to $69. Strange.

Oh, the sensitivity rating of the cx300 is 6db higher than the ep630. So my guess it's easier to drive. Correct me if i'm wrong please.
