Hello all,

I cracked the headband (hard plastic) on my Senn 600's.

Looking to the headfi brain trust for advice on how to go about repairing them, ordering parts etc.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I can't help you getting them fixed, but I suppose sending them back to Sennheiser, provided they have a warranty. This is a common issue with HD600 and HD650, so don't stress

stang, thanks for the reply.

I should have added that they are long out of warranty.
So I'm looking for the most cost effective repair options.
Love the phones. Bummed I broke them.

Are you the original owner? If so you may be able to get them repaired under warranty. If not the headband runs close to $80. If you want to save some cash you can also get a HD580 headband, I think it looks better than the hd600 fake marble anyway.

thanks gents.

Superglue failed.

is it possible to order parts from senn??

Superglue is BS...good for tiny stuff, but will not take heavy stress in large applications. Go to the hardware store and get the slow-curing version of JB Weld (two-part epoxy). Clean the BS Superglue off thoroughly and use the JB Weld. If it breaks again, I guarantee if you used that properly it will not be in the same location! Oh, and definitely do not get any of the JB Weld on anything you don't want permanently stuck to something else, especially part of your body.
