Senn 515 w/ Klipsch Promedia headphone out

I had this weird idea to put my senn 515's into the headphone jack of my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers connected to my X-Fi just to see what the difference would be...

well i found out the difference:

Wider Soundstage
Brighter Sound
Tighter & More Defined Bass

I am really surprised that it actually sounds better out a cheap little headphone out jack than direct from the sound card, but meh, whatever works

yes, the headphone out has a built-in amp and it powers headphones quite nicely. my hd580 and dr150 sound better from the promedia head-out than from my pa2v2, IMO.

Thats a nice bonus. On the other hand Logitech speaker headphone outs are complete rubbish
