I'm trying to find some semi-portable over-ear closed-back headphones to use with the Cayin N6ii. I would like them to have decent bass response, but without muffling the overall sound. I searched the Dan Clark Audio Aeon 2, but I have read the bass is really light on that set. Hoping there might be something out that that fits the bill. Thanks!

I would suggest Denon D9200 and/or Sony MDR Z1R, both have world class bass. Personally I prefer the D9200 with the A01 module and the Z1R with the E01 module.

I have the Aeon Open 1 generation, but never really liked it with the N6ii.
