Your thoughts? I've had the HJE-50's for a while now, and I quite like the sound-- fun and great bass for the size. But the tips keep flying off, and unless someone can point me towards a cheap source of tips (that's in Canada, or will ship to Canada) I'm open to trying new things (HeadFi wallet syndrome).

Hopefully not too expensive (student), can't be bass deficient. ...

How about the creative Ep630, or try to up your budget to a westone UM1 or ER6i, the tips are definitely more secure plus you get a better sound and isolation as well.

The ep-630 arent better than the hje-50! The cx300 are.
Superglue them, but wait untill it is dry before inserting them into your ears. Mine where stuck for days....

The Creative EP-630's are better than the HJE-50's. It has a Y-cord though, instead of the poorly designed J-cord (behind the neck style) of the Panasonics -> if that matters to you. Definitely more bass!

As for the tips if you search on Ebay for: "Silicon Cover Sony In Ear" you should see some there.

Another choice that you might want to consider is the Audio-Technica CK-7s. I have heard some good things about them from SG headphone guys. However it is difficult to find them anywhere outside of asia without an inflated price.

Here you can find some people's opinion regarding the ck-7s: http://www.sgheadphones.net/index.php?showtopic=4412

Interesting, as they're functionally the same...
