maybe under 1k and over 1k options, i have laptop so no soundcards :/
i was looking at sennheiser own amp but its at 2k, is it worth it or is there better option for better price,sound etc..
what do you guys use for high end autdio? is there anything i will miss out vs spending over 1k to under 1k?
 
alos how will it make mp3 files, and various movie files like avi,mp4, sound?

To really find out how it sound with various amps and sound files i suggest you try them out at a local hifi store that has them or come out to a head-fi meet. The differences people will hear scaling up amps really depends on the listeners ability to discern the differences with his/her ears (theres a reason why not everybodys an audiophile). There are numerous amps under 1k that will perform exceptionally well of course. As for music files youll be fine as long as you play well recorded music and have a good dac.
