So I've been looking for a challenge lately.
As a designer, I was hoping to make a graphic that may be useful for some of you, or just an interesting study piece, or it may be too difficult to even create.
I was wondering if any of you would like to work with me to help me create a visualization of the difference between what you hear in a cheap garbage piece of audio equipment (headphones or tower speakers - doesn't matter) and a truly high quality listening experience. I'm referring to the sound stage that you perceive and the separation between instrument locations and how "alive" the music feels, as well as various other things I have never experienced myself, because I am admittedly not a true audiophile.
I would love your feedback as far as what you feel and how you visualize the sound in your head when you listen to that perfect pair of headphones and amp.
