Yes I know these questions have been asked to death, and I am truly sorry.
I am seeking a recommendation for a closed cup headphone to be used for long periods of time listening at work, in a NOC on what will probably end up being the Audio8 simple hybrid amplifier fed from a simple USB DAC, probably a Grub.
Now at work I mostly listen to ambient type electronica and I like a warm 'tubey' sound. I will be listening at pretty low volumes so something with a warm and bass'ey character is probably what I am looking for, I love the sound from my HD590's but cannot use open back designs at work.
Clamping pressure and comfort is just as important as the SQ as I will be wearing the things for prolonged periods of time (I work 12 hour shifts)
Budget is ~£50
Let me hear your thoughts please? Unfortunately there is nowhere around here that a. stocks anything decent and b. lets you listen, let alone take whatever obscure stuff they have out of the box.
