hi guys
using 1 of 3 DACs to drive desktop powered speakers:
chord mojo, dragonfly red or ifi micro idsd 
(will use a 3.5 to rca adaptor for mojo./dragonfly)
 
but wow cables can be soooo expensive: morrow ma4, or toxic cables.
you get reputable companies like blue jean and on some sites they get comments
as being 'mehish' sounding compared to these more exotic and $$$$ brands.

and yet to be fair, there are differences in cables...so am trying to meander thru it all
 
so am still looking around for solid bang for buck brands aside from blue jean.
have heard also of Take 5 and Oval One.
 
any imput is greatly appreciated.
