Gents,

I use my Shure E3s in the gym connected to my MobiBlu mp3 player. To avoid traction on my ears, I secure the cable to my shirt. I leave some slack between my ears and the point where I secure it. Everything is good.

So I use a binder clip and the GF says it make me look like a dork (I don't need any more help looking that way).

Now I am wondering what other people use to secure the wire?

Ideas?

The little clip froma mobile phone hands-free kit. Dunno where you'd get one separately, but most people have got a few hanging around from when they buy phones. (telephones that is, not headphones

I just run the cord under my shirt. Somtimes I use medical tape and tape it to my chest with a little slack so I can stretch.

With the E3 or E4 the wires go over my ears, behind my neck, clipped at the back of my collar, and down my back under my shirt. It seems pretty invisible.

I use the clips from RS made for the Jabra headsets. The clip has a double wire holder that is perfect for the Shures.

fwiw, running the wire under the chin and down the front is very conspicuous, and therefore has a higher dork factor.

I use a sumajin smartwrap and wrap up any slack i don't use on it, then place the wrap close to the DAP/Portable amp so all anyone sees is a perfect length cord going to my ears from the DAP/Amp.

You could use the ER6i clip, thought I'm not sure if the wire of the e3c will not be too big for that clip
