My friends always joked that the securest computer is one removed entirely from the Internet.

I remember someone telling me a joke about Windows NT getting like level C5 security certification if it had no networking hardware, no removable medium connected to it, and no user input or output device can be connected to it (including the monitor), and the local hard disk had to be left entirely blank.
