Well, no. The triples isolated pretty much completely with the E3Cs and the foams less so with the E530PTHs. I'm just retrying the triples and am getting a better fit than above but with the same reduced isolation as the foams.

I'll try that EQ tip from the other day if I can find the thread in this mad place

Oh yeah, if I want to replace them what would be the best option for a genuinely balanced accurate IEMs? I have two more days to return these.

Westone 3, Livewires - heard both, like both better than the SE500's I rave about all the time...

[EDIT] The Denon AH-C700 are in the same direction of genuinely balanced, and I like them almost as much as the SE500's - all three I mentioned don't sound like the SE500's, they have a more balanced bright neutral sound signature, and none are lacking in any area, including bass.
