SE420 or e4c?

If they are the same price, probably the Se420 as I believe it is an updated version of the e4c boasting a more refined sound while also coming with the newer black foamies.

Yes, the E4 is a single driver, while the SE420 is based on the E5, a dual driver IEM. If you can get both for the same price, I'd lean towards the SE420.

Are you looking at a new E4 / SE420? If so, I would highly recommend considering a used E500 / SE530 from the For Sale forum here. It'd be around the same cost.

I'd get the E4c. From what I gathered, the SE420 aren't that good.

I believe the 420s were specially designed for high quality recordings, so if you have a good source, I'd say go for the 420s instead.

Plus, it's dual drivers, as others have mentioned!
