Future Shop has all JVC headphones on sale buy 1 get 1 free. So one US head-Fi member is getting a pair for $50 plus shipping and I got my pair for the other $50. But this hybrid does look interesting too .

Mine have been on shipping soon for a day now, but I have gotten an email from The Price Pros saying my order is being processed so hopefully they do ship soon.
