Schottky T0-220, 20TQ ok for D1 Pimeta ?

Will this Schottky T0-220, 20TQ, 40v work Ok as D1 in Pimeta. Here's a link to the data sheet. 20TQ SCHOTTKY
Tangent indicates in the assembly instructions this TO-220 Package is fine but I have looked at a lot of photos posted and seen no Pimeta's using these. Just wanted to be sure before applying power.

Yep, will work. Btw. for me (I used a 15A diode) the proper orientation was the extension with the hole towards the inner side of the board.

I'm getting close to getting this going. Just need to add this Diode and the Switch and I'll be ready to do some testing of the power section..
