Schitt VALI and Valhalla tonal quality?

I've been running a Valhalla for the last couple of years. I'm wanting to try out a VALI, just for schitts and giggles.
 
Have any of you tried the two? how did they sound? Is the VALI a more tubey sounding amp, as it warmer mids, sweeter highs?
