Hello all
I'm looking to purchase a new headphone amp that will be strictly used as a stop-gap measure.
Just purchased a Grado PS1000e from Jack Woo, and I will be needing a new amp strictly on a temp basis until I get off my duff and get my tube amp projects built ( one of which will eventually drive the Grado's and my speakers (( high sensitivity full range )).
It will, however, take me at least 6 months to get the the simplest one built ( don't have a lot of spare time ), so I'm looking at either the Schiit Jotunheim or the iFi Audio Micro iCAN SE to hold me over.
I'm familiar w/ the iFi house sound, as I've got both a Nano iDSD, and a Micro IDAC 2, and would be satisfied, I'm sure, with the iCAN SE.
But the reviews of the Jotunheim are quite impressive, and I though I'd ask here if anyone has heard them both and what their opinions and thoughts may be prior to pulling the pin and getting one of the amps.
Any thoughts ??
As always, thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers, Crazy Bill
