Add the Grimm TPR to the list of inexpensive but great sounding audio cables!
Pro Audio LA builds them to length. They take a little bit of time, but it's worth it for the reasonable price.
NIce, I am glad you are liking what you are hearing.
For some headphones I leave all the switches off, but other ones I do turn on PP and/or high gain. It also depends on the recording sometimes which settings I prefer. If I am using the Mjolnir 3 as a preamp then all the switches stay off.
Yeah, you definitely want to feed the Mjolnir 3 4v from XLR vs 2v RCA to get the most out of it. I have mine hooked up to a Yggdrasil+ MIB via XLR (previously I used a Bifrost 2/64).
No, it's too expensive.
I asked for a trial, but it was a no go.
For less than half the cost, my go-to is the Xangsane 6N silver cables (although, they might be a lot more expensive to import nowadays, given the current trade climate...)

Currently using the Mjolnir 3 with a Topping DX9. Great sound as well. The DAC employs the AKM 4499 EQ, one of the best sounding DACs at any price, IMHO.
Have too many SACDs to use a Schitt DAC. Maybe one day.

"The only one who has to like the sound of your system is you". That being said, the Mjolnir 3 is fairly revealing of the source, so if that is your preferred DAC, I can understand how you like the pairing. To be clear I am not saying that the Mjolnir 3 has no influence on the end result (its a Schiit amp after all), but everyone has a preferred pairing.

I had thought that DAC's varied more sonically than they do. When I tried the DX9 as a DAC, I was floored just how good it sounded. I compared it to PS Audio DSD MK1, and a Chord Hugo TT. To my amazment, the DX9 sounded just as good (or better) than the other DACs listed. Had to re-think what I thought I knew about DACs. The Mjolnir 3 really made the headphone playback setup better.
I was looking at Schiit DAC's but they only handle PCM. I was hoping at least one of them would support DoP, but alas, that is not the case.
