I responded to the previous post asking about posting Mimir impressions.
Yeah, still no give.

JFC, can someone just please hook their new Mimir up to a CDP and tell us their impressions of how it goes in their system?
Which Yggy are you using?By no means do I have a very sophisticated ear but the Yggy has been my main DAC for over 4 years and I've been ABing it with Mimir for the last hour and I'm having a hard time hearing much difference..I'm sure there are many others that would pick something up in listening but it ain't easy.
Almost certainly a driver or player software issue. Mimir was tested extensively with all major operating systems and all sample rates work fine.I don't know if it is the ASIO4ALL driver or not.

Ok, so ASIO4ALL doesn't support more than 192k. Got it. But, I can't seem to get HQPlayer to see Mimir as a WASAPI device, either. In my Control Panel, the DAC doesn't show up as a "Speaker", only an "Audio" device. Could this be the issue?Almost certainly a driver or player software issue. Mimir advertises itself and its capabilities to the host system via UAC2. As long as your driver or player sticks to that standard, Mimir should work without any issues.
You can try this yourself by setting your Windows’ audio output’s sample rate to whatever you want and have the OS resample. Yes, that’s not what you want to do, but doing so temporarily will allow you to verify that it actually works.
We don’t officially support ASIO, if it works at all it does so purely by accident.Ok, so ASIO4ALL doesn't support more than 192k. Got it. No, it doesn't at all. I have this thing called "Remote Audio" and nothing else is there. It shows up only under "Audio" and in the "Control Panel" devices manager. Honestly, I didn't know it would be this much difficulty getting the DAC to show up. So weird. I wonder if it does have something to do with the BIOS or the Win11 setup on this Minisforum machine. Am I the only one with this problem on Win11?Do you see 384 KHz on the drop down list for sample rates with Windows?
BTW, Does Mimir even show up on the sound dialog box?
