Very nice work!!!
@Pallidin79

@khileman A++++ & 100%
@Paladin79 : Hope you get back on your feet soon, Gald Dweezil is home. Any damage to your wife's work space? Prayers sent your way!
My wife’s pottery shed was untouched but our house, two cars, were damaged and a storage shed got demolished. Four people worked on my trees today but an excavator is needed later on to remove large sections.

One friend offered to bring a chainsaw and then haul off all the limbs. He had no concept of how bad it was.🤪

Spending some time in Gods country - Thirsk, N. Yorkshire.

Turn right 5 min walk to Tesco for supplies.
Turn left 5 min walk to The Little 3 - great pub with live music Thursday and Saturday .

Tough life !

I would park myself at the bar and get as much of the Timothy Taylor's Landlord in me as I could until I fell off the bar stool. Enjoy Yorkshire. Solid bottle choices as well.

I do hope he picks up some Yorkshire sayings and takes them back to Texas. Expressions that will puzzle the folks back home...

Well, that was fun. For the last few days, anyone calling my 90-year old mum could hear her, but she couldn't hear the caller. So, drove the seven hours to her place and found a bad phone line from the modem (she's on VOIP). Yay. Now we continue our vacation.

That's a long way around a problem.

I had the same problem at both my house and my parents place. They were both Netgear modems. The cables that came with them were absolute landfill material. I don’t know how good the power supply was because I replaced it with avMeanwell immediately

New release today. Remember Bela Fleck and the Flecktones?

He's back with his magical jazz banjo with a new trio. Very nice.

I saw this trio perform in San Francisco a couple of months ago — a great concert by world class musicians. Being unfamiliar with jazz harp, I was especially captivated by Edmar Castañeda, and it really opened my eyes to what is possible on the instrument. Check out this blazing performance by Hiromi and Castañeda.

Did everyone see that Qobuz Connect officially launched this morning? There's a list of compatible streamers listed on their site, no Bluesound yet.
“No, Qobuz Connect is not currently available on Bluesound. While Bluesound integrates Qobuz's services within the BluOS app, Qobuz Connect is a separate feature that allows users to stream directly from the Qobuz app to compatible Hi-Fi devices. Bluesound is awaiting the technical specifications from Qobuz to implement the feature, according to a Bluesound support post. “
Qobuz Connect already soft launched a couple of weeks ago, and I've been trying it out switching between Mac, PC, iOS and Android apps, and it even works with their web player. Works great, much better than Tidal Connect ever did. It amuses me that Bluesound is making the excuse that they are late because they are waiting on Qobuz. It already works on a dozen streamers that had been beta testing for months.

Do not overdo it, Tom. :astonished:

The new Sleep Token album, Even in Arcadia just released. If you like rock eclectic and sometimes very loud, try them out.

I reached my limit today, between mine and both neighbors properties, and clearing my driveway of limbs, my body finally told me it was time to stop. 😉 I did get another Micro Seiki tonearm so I took time to check that out after my workers went home. On the fly VTA no less.😁 Oh and I can borrow a generator if I am without power long enough.

Those are some wild beef prices. I bought a 1/2 last summer and paid less than half that amount. Beef prices have gone much higher since then though.
I checked around here...those are pretty fair prices in the current environment I think, and Kudos to the guys in the picture for going around the middle man and direct to the retail customer. Probably about $5 a pound depending on the weight of the 1/2

@Paladin79 take care! I'm sure you're looking at all the lumber strewn about and planning your next objet d'art.

Today is a big day here, my opera-loving youngest is graduating Magnum Cum Laude with a bachelors in French. Dunno where the time went?
Maybe I can afford my own power pole now?
Congratulations! A Magnum Cum Laude French BA and an opera lover? You did something right. :sunglasses:
