Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Potential VH3 tube rollers beware: Tube adapters may be out due to restricted tube opening size.

Gotta say, this is a big reason why I’m sticking with the Valhalla 2. I’m all-in on 6J5-style tubes and would want to use them with my gear vs going down another tube rabbit hole.

Hope you’re enjoying your Valhalla 3, though!

You'll have to call them. This seems to happen for packages with a signing requirement in areas where all you have is pickup boxes but no staffed locations in the somewhat immediate vicinity of your address. I had a similar issue a few months back and it turned into a complete ordeal because I didn't call right away and tried that useless app and their website instead.
Just tried that, and unfortunately they refused to help me saying "contact the shipper". 🙄

Classic FedEx

Another Mimir in the house... with Lokius and Asgard 3, the word that comes to mind is... soft. Like smooth and refined. No sharp edge on any attack, even with super harsh electronic tracks. Very pleasant and easy to turn UP.

Sorry to hear the news. From my experience, there's nothing quite like being told your services aren't necessary after being "a highly valued member of the team" for years.
Yeah, was MISERABLE on the other side of the chairs also… 2007 the big layoffs in Tech. I had about 60 folks on my team. Our Product lines were profitable, but the bean counters mandated 90% internal operating margins. Nothing personal, they said, but you need to cut staff down to those levels. I ran products management and product marketing, my peer had the developers. 60 folks in all (mostly development because we had about a 10::1 ratio of dev to PM/PMM. Just two of us with the: “Hey <Jim, Fred, Mary, Anetha, … > could you come to my office, please?” God, I HATED it! That was the FIRST round… by the third round I went to the Sr. VP and said “How about I take this package, we can save XX and YY?” (I’d already started plans for the first startup with one of our developers, and the package gave me 11 months severance lump sum; enough to bootstrap the new company.

I couldn’t take the stress of laying high-quality people off.

One diamond in the rough, though, was Jim… he was 64… he broke into HAPPY tears when I told him the package: “I can retire early with MORE, Thank you!”. But other’n that exception, it sucked. Never again.

Financialization ruins everything it (ever) touches (everywhere). Anymore is politics.

But...the Valhalla 2 and Valhalla 3 both use the same toobz.

OMG!!!!! I am actually unable to speak and tears are welling up in my eyes...

Got back from breakfast with my father and sat down to catch up on HF when there was a knock on the door. It was FedEx needing me to sign for something. I thought, geez, the wife bought some more freakin' shoes, but the package was too heavy. And it was addressed to me and not her. AND IT WAS FROM SCHIIT!!! So I signed for it and set it on my desk wondering what to do next. I decided to open it and and am in utter and complete shock!!!

Somehow, some way, I am the recipient of a VH3!!!!!!!!!

I have no idea how many of you fine folks are involved, but I am in shock!! I'm just sitting here typing while shaking my head in disbelief. THANK YOU!!!! I will set it up and post more pictures after I regain my composure!!

What an awesome group of folks. I keep saying this is not just a forum but a community!! I dare anyone to try and convince me otherwise!!!

OMG!!!
Wow! Awesome Schiit! Yup, this community (or the word ACP uses but I cannot spell).
