Well it is Wednesday and 1/2 price margaritas today so I'm ready to sprint out the door as soon as the wife is off her work conference call. 😁

**I have not been retired long so I'm no expert yet. I am a fast learner, however. 😉

Ahhhhhhh...

Fingers crossed Mimirs start arriving for several early adopters soon, so we'll read some impressions of it in the thread. I'm especially curious to hear what it's like with Vali 3, Valhalla 3, and Gjallahorn F. If there are enough good impressions with those 3 combos then I'll probably divest of my other smaller amps and DACs and go that route.

@Ripper2860 Hope those afternoon margaritas are tasty. BTW, I do like your setup. I'm assuming your turntable is under that cover? And I see you are still rocking those ribbons?

It is and I am. I seemed to have misplaced my TT dustcover so for now that cover is my go-to.

The Saga 2 sounds remarkable with twin-mono Gjallarhorn's but I keep going back to a single, stereo Gjallarhorn with Saga + and Apos Select 6SN7 tube. (Subwoofer not being used except as a temporary table).
I would also recommend trying a LISST while they’re available. I thought it sounded better than the couple of tubes I tried. Oh, and pick up a tube extender for ease of removal.

When you get older, it is too much effort to put shoes on and off. We just keep 'em on. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
I just never put shoes on unless I am getting in the car to go somewhere or going for a walk. I suspect it would take a few months to toughen up but after that you are golden. And feet don't wear out nearly as often as shoes.

Interesting. I am unable to delete anything from my cart at schiit.com. I had to clear all cookies to empty the cart.

The optimist thinks of the cup to be half full.
The pessimist thinks of the cup to be half empty.
Me, personally, I'm a realist. I leave early so that I don't have to wash all of those glasses. 😏
And the realist says the glass is always full. It can be a mixture or combination but there's always 'something' filling the glass. Nature abhors a vacuum.
