That woman has a stunningly beautiful voice. The guy is good too but I am more impressed by the girl. Thank you for both videos!

I feel the same way except when I have female listeners Geoff’s voice has quite an impact. You can find plenty of reactions on YouTube as well. That woman has a stunningly beautiful voice. The guy is good too but I am more impressed by the girl. Thank you for both videos!

I took Rippers advice and got the Drop pads as well. Love them. I listen via MM, Vali3 and 6xx which is my bedside setup. Even more warm fuzziness which works just fine for me before nodding off. Not going back to the OG’s.I have swapped the stock OG pads with the Drop pads several times this am.
Checking for bass. mids and treble response to my ears.
Using the Vali 3.
Also soundstage.
And comfort and fit.
Very well made. Memory foam is very nice Comfort wise.
I would say they are better made than the OG's.
They are decent pads for the price IMO.
They seem to have less soundstage width to me. Still ok.
(the shape of these and the OG's are very different and this is possible why I hear less of a soundstage in width.)
The bass for me seems abit "bloated" or not as "firm" as I hear with the stock pads.
The one thing with 650's and thousands have been sold is the clamping force has always been firm on my head.
With the Drop pads this is alleviated to some degree.
Drop pads seem to add some clarity and/or transparency to me. A good thing.
All in all good replacements.
Almost like tube swapping or rolling.
Will play with some tubes with Vali 3 and see how it goes.
Also this is only for an hour or so..so my brain memory just might change its "mind" after a few days of listening.
Will report back in a few days.
:>)
Note: Vali 3 is a very good match with these higher impedance cans.
I guess it's pad testing day. I replaced my original 6XX pads a month ago with Dekoni Elite Sheepskin (the old pads were damn near flat) and today I installed Elite Sheepskin on the old school AKG K240 "Monitor" 600Ω headphones that just arrived, courtesy of ebay. Driving them with the Valhalla 2, stock tubes.I took Rippers advice and got the Drop pads as well. Love them. I listen via MM, Vali3 and 6xx which is my bedside setup. Even more warm fuzziness which works just fine for me before nodding off. Not going back to the OG’s.
Wotan, also known as Odin, Woden, or Óðinn, is a major god in Norse mythology. He was a war god, the king of the gods, and was associated with the dead. He was also the god of poets and magic, and was associated with runes. Odin was often depicted as a tall, old man with a long beard and only one eye, which he sacrificed to Mimir in exchange for wisdom.
For some reason I was sure that nobody in this thread would show appreciation for Katie Melua, I'm glad I was wrong. This is one of my fav performances of her (the "uhh" part always give me chills)...
It takes time but it is worth it.That's true, still takes time to change tubes.
I recently learned that while Colorado is typically depicted as a clean rectangle on most maps, its border is not a straight line in most places. In the 1800's surveying and cartography were sometime inexact sciences, so the borders wavers in various places because of old errors. In fact, because of the curvature of the Earth the southern border is longer than the northern border!I know your question was tongue in cheek, but.........That area used to be part of Texas, (Texas went even further north). When they wanted to join the Union, they were forced to give up land above a certain parallel. You can read up on the history of USA borders. They were not as cut and dried as we think of them today. Very interesting at least to me.
You do know that Earth is flat, right? In fact, because of the curvature of the Earth the southern border is longer than the northern border!
