Nice!! A concert at Red Rocks is on our (wife and I) list of things to experience before we shed this mortal coil.

We're coming up on our 28th anniversary next month.. :beerchug: We just finished tripling our solar and battery bank about an hour ago. We also Installed a small system dedicated to powering a proper Schiit amp. :gs1000smile:
I'd love to hear about the system upgrades sometime , if you don't mind sharing

Thanks, my initial research had put that on the list. So it’d be a “streamer” and then a “service” (e.g. Qobux, Roon, etc.)? Anything else?
Roon is only relevant if you want more complex combinations such as multiple endpoints, unified management of local music and streaming services. It integrates streaming services like Tidal and Qobuz if you already subscribe to those. I use it because I have multiple endpoints and a lot of local music (CD rips and digital downloads). If you want to use Qobuz only, Roon would be extra expense and overkill.

Given this reply, @earnmyturns how's Qobuz on the Zen Stream?
I have Qobuz, but since I also have a large local library, I only use Qobuz via Roon, and the Zen Stream as a Roon endpoint. I'd try Qobuz directly to tell you except that the Zen Stream is the other side of the country for when I spend time there visiting our son.

For a small form factor, well constructed, high quality box streamer, look at the Cambridge MXN10 I mentioned a few comments above. It's a great little device with awesome sound quality. Qobuz integration in Cambridge's StreamMagic app is mostly very good. It's just a groovy little plug'n'play device, and quite affordable, too.
One advantage of the Zen Stream over the MXN10 and the WiiM Pro is that it has USB out (as well as S/PDIF), which is the output I use with the Soekris DAC I have with it, and I'd also use with any Unison Schiit DAC. TL; DR If your DAC has a high-quality USB input, as Unison Schiit, Soekris, or Holo do, that is typically preferable to S/PDIF, which is synchronous and depends on the streamer's clock accuracy.

Streamers
I currently have an Allo USBridge running Moode. Happy with it however my NAS has 17 TB of flac and growing. MPD is starting to cause issues whenever rebooting due to the size.

Looking to replace, probably with an ifi Zen as I want to feed my BiFrost via USB.

What software is used to play from the NAS? Will I run into the same issues?
You may very well run into similar issues. iFi Zen Stream is based on RPi and runs Volumio (many streaming products run Volumio OEM software). You could try running the free version of Volumio on your USBridge and see if it works better than Moode.

The masks are on to hide their NC vinegar BBQ sauce-stained lips.
That's true. NC BBQ is so delicious you can't help but eat it by the handful. 🤣

26 years of wedded bliss on my 2nd (and final) try. 17 years for my first try. I married young.
27 years last week, first and only for me. I married old. But I have totally impressed myself with my perseverance.

Wait....that may be what she said. Nevermind. 🤣

The wildest thing we have are the co-eds, I live on the outskirts of a college town. 😜 I am on a private street with forests nearby but ten minutes from the heart of downtown.

Good for Finnegan too ~~

Don't say 'yech' until you listen for a while (on Qobuz). Kuniko is an out-of-this-world percussionist. Great test for your gear's dynamics/attack/decay.
