Once you're hooked on astronomy, you're hooked. ...

... spent several memorable evenings touring the southern Milky Way...
I have a 'scope I haven't used in years, never any place dark enough being a big city boy. Always could count on the lunar mountains.

Only place I've been able to see the Milky Way was on Kaua'i. Amazing and could have goggled for hours except the mosquitoes were relentless.

Again, relax. Reflect on the fact that you only live 30,000 days or so before worrying about getting this thread to 10,000 pages. Get out. Go hiking. See your family. Take a trip. Meet new people. Do something you've never done before. Learn a new skill. Try a new hobby. Say hello to actual humans. Sit and enjoy a beer without poking at your phone. It's OK.

Not every post has to be weighty and meaningful, but, well, maybe some should be.

Incubus should stand out and not be relegated to running with the B&W herd. I'm open dressing her up a bit more if you're serious. 😏
I will give it some thought after some turntable restorations. Most people know if I say it, I mean it. There is a wood called white Limba that can be gorgeous along side wenge. The two outside woods with perhaps a thin strip of bloodwood for contrast. I believe it would be gorgeous.IMG_7283.jpeg

Excellent suggestion. You have quite the eye! Whenever / if ever you can. I love her the way she is so no worries or hurry.

Thanks, well thank this unique part of the planet that bluebonnets only grow.

Indian Paintbrush is coming in big time now. A unique combo of colors when it's just the two.

Thanks for your thoughts. I agree with you on some music sounding better through some chain or another depending on the music, the mood - a number of things. I love the options that the Freya N provides. Whichever amp I add to the stack, I'll likely keep the Piety and Asgard in there too, or mayb move the Asgard 3 to the office and figure out where to put the Vali 2++ that's there now....
Stay away from the MJ3. It's transparency and general excellence will make you want, nay, need, to upgrade everything in the chain.
Trying to save you from marital strife

Is the money for the car already allocated? There's a better use....

And Shirley Bassey sang the best Bond song.
Oddly enough, I heard recently that Duran Duran's Bond song is the only one to make it to the top of the charts.

P.S. I often listen to Diamonds Are Forever on loop.

I can do the build without your amp, if you approve I will change out the electronics and all is done. 🤪
