I really do like the looks of that with the black gear! It appears that the Vali fits nicely on the bottom shelf as well.Guess who builds mini-racks?

Thanks for this suggestion, it sounds amazing on Qobuz, even with my inexpensive Simgot EW200 IEMsFun!
Pacer wagon. Excellent!Obviously done in anticipation of 1958.
If we're switching to station wagons, then this. The vinyl siding they hoped people would think was wood was only for the well-heeled.

My uncle owned C1 Corvette, then bought Pacer.

Rob the cradle, get a '57 Chevy.I would like to own a car as old as I. Unfortunately 1950 was not a high water mark for styling.

lol that is @bcowen who extols the sound quality of maple wood. The guy comes from a good home but somewhere along the way something must have happened to him.And it sounds soooo good!
At some point, it's interesting to read about any business history, starting from the idea and all the struggles it faced to become a fully successful company and bring profit to its owners.
But, how come you find time to post here? Is it some sort of promotional campaign?

Nor for functionality! The FX3 was a 1951 model (for those of you not familiar, it's the model with no passenger side front door or compartment - luggage was placed there). In addition to poor brakes, this one had a penchant for sucking air into the diesel lines, requiring some road lying to fix. Often in winter, at night, in the rain.I would like to own a car as old as I. Unfortunately 1950 was not a high water mark for styling.
I do look at the classics (DB5, anyone) and lust. But it was the looks, not the performance that excites. Most current cars have far better performace and handling than even supercars of the day. I'd happily take a classic with electrics..........

The only one that can directly answer that question is Jason himself.....At some point, it's interesting to read about any business history, starting from the idea and all the struggles it faced to become a fully successful company and bring profit to its owners.

Participating in this forum had always been a pleasure, in very large part to the way Schiit approaches their craft. I would ask that you spend some time reading a few chapters:

Early on, after realizing Jason Stoddard was the designer of the Sumo equipment that I was listening to at the time, I mentioned this in a post. He actually took the time to drag his copy of the Andromeda II amplifier out and share a picture on a workbench. Clearly not a "promotional campaign" or at least I don't see it that way ....
I personally like the equipment, the tech, love the snark, and the crazy people here

Congratulations. Can't guarantee that you'll love it as much as many of us, but I can guarantee that you won't consider the Vali 3 a side grade to the Vali 2. Please share your thoughts when you have had a chance to listen. Thanks for this. I, too, am wandering through the valley of tubes and trying to see what they bring. I have a Vali 2 and am thinking of getting a Vali 3 since they are so inexpensive. I have a few bucks laying about so I’ll seek out one of the vaunted WE396 tubes to try as well.
