Welcome, and sorry for your wallet.
Actually, I retract that part about the wallet, you already are spending up with the Klipchshorns,
Nice!
I would like to brag and say thanks, but I got them for free from my cousin who has owned them for nearly 50 years. They are Speakerlab K's (some believe Khorn ripoffs) that I spent $1500 upgrading the tweeters, mid drivers and crossovers from Bob Crites (Crites Speakers). Ripoff or not, they sound sensational, at any volume. The Vidar really drives them well!

BBC Music Magazine CD - March 2024

Luscious violin playing via Urd > Yggy+ OG. Especially Max Bruch’s stunningly beautiful violin concerto.

Tonight's tunes in the RV (S10-Mimby-Magni-Dan Clark Aeon):

I once shared an elevator ride with Alan Doyle at a hotel in downtown Toronto (very nice guy), and found out that a pub I was relaxing in in St. John's Newfoundland, almost 30 years ago, was a favourite haunt of the band.

Edit: The name of the pub just came to me: The Duke of Duckworth

AM/FM/SW/LW radio (I used to listen to the Canadian time signal broadcast)

I had a deep feeling of sadness when the CBC discontinued that not long ago. It was a fun little ritual to try and set my mechanical watch to the exact time at 11 am. Dang finding cuts 😞😞

The cherry on top for my speaker rig would be an Urd, but that will have to wait now that we've dropped $7K on an engine replacement at 50,000 miles. ☹️

Perhaps a Vali 3 will make me feel better. 😁

I have found this... Whatever you call it (thread) very entertaining. I don't do headphones. Maybe worse, I don't do tubes. Although the Vali3 has me wondering about both. I prefer Canadian whiskey to bourbon. That Tom guy is pretty good with wood, and he has a cool cat. All the banter between you guys is fantastic!
I do love Schiit. I have a Pooh Corner. Thanks for letting me share! Kyle
Welcome, :) you will not be bored, but hope you're retired so you have the time to follow this crazy place in detail! If not you will hone your scrolling skills.

Like the sign too.

My Valiant Slant Six was pretty cool in its day...
.
I drove a '69 Dart with a slant six back in high school. I beat the bejesus outta that motor. Mostly because it couldn't get out of its own way. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I haven't been a subscriber since the late 90s but it warms my heart that BBC Music is still doing CDs in their magazines. Good on them. 👍🏻

50K miles? You are tough on engines!
Not really. Wife's car -- a well maintained 2017 Ford Escape with 2.0 liter engine. Seems there was a design flaw in the engine block for 2015-2018 2.0 liter motors that Ford will not own up to. Coolant and water entered into cylinder head and block -- ruined the engine. No recall or technical service bulletin. I'll be joining the class action suit. Lawyers will make the $$$ and maybe I'll get a coupon for $100 off on my next Ford purchase, like that'll ever happen.

Anyhow -- Vali 3 is looking quite tempting!! :D
